Oxford University

Rodrigo received his DPhil (PhD) from the University of Oxford in 2010. He was awarded the VenCap® Scholarship in Biomedical Engineering and Commercial Entrepreneurship to support his research in the field of nanotechnology and cell interaction.




He also authored several scientific publications in the areas of nanomaterials and chemotaxis, and led multidisciplinary research in the areas of nanomaterials, cells and nanoparticles, amino acids, advanced electron microscopy and Raman Spectrometry within the Engineering Science department and closely collaborated with the Dunn School of Pathology, OxfordNano, and the Material Science and Plant Science departments at Oxford.

His leading edge research work also allowed him to establish collaborations with industry.  He attended several nanotechnology and entrepreneurship related events and conferences including:
